Anthropic expands Cyber Verification Program, adds three access tiers

Anthropic launched an expanded Cyber Verification Program (CVP), integrating Project Glasswing with CVP into a three-tier access system, opening advanced cyber capabilities of models such as Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Sonnet 5.5, and Claude Mythos 5.1 to qualified security teams and reducing interception classifier restrictions. The three tiers are Defense Access, Red Team Access, and Specialized Access, of which Specialized Access has the least interception and is limited to institutions deeply vetted in collaboration with the U.S. government, which can test security systems such as flight control systems, power grids, and telecommunications networks.
