Mistral launches public preview of Mistral Large 4, weights to be released at the end of the month

Mistral AI launches Mistral Large 4 (ML4) public preview API, weights to be released at the end of this month. The model is a 1 trillion parameter natively multimodal model with 49 billion active parameters, trained from scratch on 3,800 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPUs in Mistral's own data centers in Europe. On the Artificial Analysis Cyber Index, ML4 ranks in the global top five, with a vulnerability reproduction and patching test score of 82%, the highest among all models; Cybench 40 challenge solve rate 93%. Mistral is red-teaming the model with cybersecurity agencies and government authorities under conditions that reduce review and expand cyber capabilities.
