Anthropic expands the Cyber Verification Program coverage and establishes three levels of access

Anthropic is opening the Cyber Verification Program to a broader range of security practitioners. Vetted organizations and individual researchers can use Claude models with fewer safety filters in vulnerability research, malware analysis, incident response, and penetration testing. The program has three tiers: Defense Access is for enterprise security teams, government agencies, universities, critical infrastructure operators, open-source developers, and individual researchers; Red Team Access is limited to organizations and is used for authorized attack simulation; Specialized Access is for testing flight control systems, power grids, or banking infrastructure, with each applicant jointly vetted by Anthropic and the U.S. government.
