OpenAI partners with Ironclad to advance GPT-6 Astra's computer use capabilities

OpenAI partnered with AI contract management company Ironclad to turn tasks such as contract configuration, approval, and reusable legal clauses into training and evaluation tasks for GPT-6 Astra. Across 11 legal, business, and procurement research tasks, Astra scored an average of 55.0%, higher than GPT-5.6 Sol's 41.6%, with estimated single-attempt time dropping from 37.0 minutes to 19.2 minutes. Astra is the first frontier model trained on Ironclad tasks, with an average research evaluation score 32% higher than GPT-5.6 Sol and 48% lower time.
