Anthropic officially submitted its S-1 prospectus to the US SEC, in a push to list on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT. The prospectus discloses that in the second quarter of 2026, revenue was 11.555 billion US dollars, 14.7 times that of the same period last year, operating profit on a GAAP basis was 974 million US dollars, and net operating cash inflow in the first half of the year was 3.929 billion US dollars. In September, more than 90% of code contributions to its codebase came from Claude, and in the third quarter each engineer contributed on average more than 45 times the daily average level of 2024 in code per day. On Carnegie Mellon University's ExploitBench benchmark, Claude's success rate in exploiting software vulnerabilities rose from 40% for Opus 4.8 to 91% for Opus 5.5 in about 4 months; Anthropic said Claude Mythos Preview's cybersecurity capabilities were too strong, and after adding new guardrails it was released to the public under the name Claude Fable 5. On compute, it signed a lease agreement worth up to 120.5 billion US dollars with SpaceX.AI, a wholly owned subsidiary of SpaceX, and together with five contracts with Google, Amazon, Broadcom and Microsoft, the total exceeds 550 billion US dollars.
The revenue, profitability and compute contract figures disclosed in the prospectus provide concrete numbers for observing how frontier labs use AI to accelerate their own R&D.
