OpenAI releases GPT-Rosalind-6 System Card appendix
GPT-Rosalind-6 System Card Addendum
OpenAI released an appendix to the GPT-Rosalind-6 System Card, stating that the model uses the same weights as GPT-6 Astra, with no new training data or additional post-training. The model is intended for trusted-access deployment to approved customers and supports legitimate advanced biological research more than general ChatGPT models, including some dual-use topics that GPT-6 Astra may refuse to answer under General Access; OpenAI classifies this release as High capability in the biological and chemical domains, following the four High and four Critical capability evaluations in the GPT-6 Astra system card. At the highest reasoning budget tested on GeneBench Pro v13, GPT-Rosalind-6 had a single-attempt success rate of 37.7%, and GPT-Rosalind-5.5 had 16.7%.
The appendix presents the accompanying biosecurity evaluation results and customer safety control requirements for the same-weights model when biological-domain refusals are relaxed for approved customers.
