Recruitment company boss accused of running X account "Big Time Charlie", using AI to scrape data to carry out "doxxing" attacks on RNLI and anti-racism activists
Recruitment boss accused of being behind ‘doxxing’ campaign against RNLI and anti-racism activists
Tom Watson, founder of recruitment company Futura Energy Group, has been accused by Hope Not Hate of running the X account "Big Time Charlie", which, with nearly 50,000 followers, carried out "doxxing" on RNLI staff, anti-racism activists, and corporate executives who recruit employees from ethnic minorities, and is suspected of using AI to scrape data from sites such as LinkedIn to build a so-called "Traitorbase". The account was deactivated shortly after being named, and its posts had repeatedly praised right-wing MP Rupert Lowe and claimed to have donated £2,500 to his Restore Britain party. Targets including Merseyside Green Party councillor Chantelle Lunt have reported the matter to the police.
