On August 28, Gartner released the "Hype Cycle for Artificial Intelligence, 2026," listing Lasso as a representative vendor in the AI Governance Technologies (AIGT) category, alongside Boomi, Databricks, Google, IBM, Microsoft, OneTrust, ServiceNow, and Zenity. Gartner defines AIGT as policy enforcement tools covering the entire AI lifecycle, with current market penetration of 5% to 20%, five to ten years from mainstream adoption, and includes it among four rapidly maturing control technologies in this year's Priority Matrix.
