Sierra releases draft of personal agent protocol Poppy and adds 35 design partners
Sierra 发布个人智能体协议 Poppy 草案,35 家设计伙伴
Sierra has released a draft of the personal agent protocol Poppy and announced 35 new design partners, including OpenAI, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Cloudflare, Notion, and 1Password, among others. These companies will participate in the design process of the draft and provide feedback. Poppy builds on existing standards such as OAuth, JWT, HTTPS, OpenAPI, and MCP, and defines five components: discovery, session, login, cross-channel single session, and task execution. Enterprises publish interaction instructions at /.well-known/poppy.json on their websites; personal agents first start a session as a guest and identify themselves, and when an account is needed, the customer logs in via OAuth or the agent logs in on their behalf with a session token, with tokens granted only for permissions approved by the customer. Enterprises can choose to collaborate with personal agents through their own websites, APIs, or their own agents; Sierra says it will hold design workshops and release a reference implementation in the coming month.
