Anthropic expands text watermarking to more Claude models
Anthropic expands text watermarking to more Claude models starting November 3, covering Claude Mythos 5, Opus 4.7, Opus 4.6 and Sonnet 4.6, with Amazon Bedrock possibly a few days later. The watermark is embedded as subtle word-choice patterns and does not change meaning, quality or readability, adds no characters or tokens, does not affect pricing or request/response formats, and contains no user, organization or conversation information. The author says the watermark uses Google DeepMind's SynthID-Text technology, is currently open for detection only to regulators, law enforcement, media, fact-checking and research organizations, and notes that Anthropic is deploying globally while OpenAI only watermarks for EU users.
Anthropic extends text watermarking to all Claude models and deploys it globally, comparable to an EU-only compliance approach.
Anthropic 直接全球都打

Claude gonna start snitching on Tuesday.
Anthropic just emailed customers. Starting Nov 3, text carries an invisible watermark.
You can't see it. It survives copy and paste, and it can survive some editing.
Only regulators, journalists, fact-checkers and researchers can check for it right now.
It doesn't say who you are. It says Claude touched the words. Even a quick proofread counts.
If your brand voice runs on Claude, write like someone might check. Because now someone can.View the quoted post on X
