Doubao mobile assistant announced that the 30-day public comment period for the screen automation operation declaration protocol SAEP ended on October 14, 2026, and it will gradually open up screen automation operation permissions for third-party applications. SAEP targets cross-application operations of graphical interface agents. Developers can declare allowed or prohibited operations by application, page, and operation intent, with the system executing uniformly and keeping the entire process auditable. For applications that have explicitly declared refusal, the agent will not operate on them; after the public comment period ends, developers can still declare refusal at any time, and Doubao will provide feedback within 3 business days. Teams with development resources can configure according to the integration documentation, while teams without development needs can fill out a form or send an email, noting the application package name and request (integration cooperation, operation refusal, or feedback).
