Muse Wonder brings Meta back to the AI frontier

Meta released two new models, Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, saying they bring the company back to the AI frontier. Muse Wonder Full has frontier capabilities and will be offered through the API and Muse Code, with the largest version also powering features across Meta's platforms. Meta says the largest version surpasses Anthropic's Claude Fable 5.1 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, is slightly below Claude Opus 5.5, and exceeds OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra on specialized benchmarks such as legal document processing and software development. The models add two features, Active Memory and Active Focus, used to keep agents locked onto established goals and reduce behavioral drift.
