Meta released the open-weight model Muse Spark Open, calling it America's "most powerful" open-weight model, which can run locally on Apple computers. The model has 816B parameters and a 1 million token context window, and requires at least 1TB RAM to run locally. Meta said it has paired the model with the AI coding terminal Muse Code for Mastodon client fixes and DaVinci Resolve asset review, and made it available through multiple API platforms.
